The Contracting Division at Ben Booysen (Pty) Ltd is responsible for large commercial and industrial airconditioning, ventilation and heating installations. Clients include government departments such as Education, Public Works, Agriculture and Health, private property developers, retail outlets such as Checkers, Woolworths and Pick’nPay, and national property administrators such as Old Mutual and Liberty Life.

 
Under the guidance of Paul Mornet a Director and an ECSA registered professional mechanical engineer, this division specializes in turn-key “design, supply and install” HVAC solutions.  Chilled water, variable refrigerant volume and large packaged and split type airconditioning systems are offered as options, tailored to best suit the client’s requirements and budgets.

In-house “AutoCad” drafting and associated services  is the responsibility of Frederick Pretorius.

Managing the implementation of these projects is Julius Neizel, a Director with 25 years service in the airconditioning industry, assisted by Kim Houghton.  Project coordinators Zahir Shaik and Shailendra Bissessar ensure timeous equipment delivery and program scheduling.
 

Installation teams consist of qualified technicians assisted by apprentices and semi skilled staff.  Continuous technical development of these individuals is of utmost importance and skills development forms an integral part of their daily activities.






On site “Health and Safety” issues are dealt with by Vickus Olivier, a full time employee specializing in regulations relating to health and safety matters.
